BOSS (Basic Operative Surgical Skills) Course

The BOSS (Basic Operative Surgical Skills) Course, hosted by Security Forces Hospital Dammam, is a specialized surgical training workshop designed for medical residents. Held from 14 to 16 September 2025, the course focuses on foundational skills in operative surgery. Participants will receive 6 CME hours accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. The course offers hands-on practice in cutting, knotting, suturing, instrument handling, and animal model procedures. It also includes essential principles of Minimal Access Surgery (MAS), as well as sterilization and disinfection protocols.
