About

Aim

Developing participants' skills in conducting scientific and literary reviews and searching databases.

 By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  •  Identify different types of scientific reviews.
  • Use database search fundamentals (Keywords, Boolean, MeSH).
  •  Become familiar with major databases (PubMed, CINAHL, PsycINFO, ProQuest).
  •  Organize and manage references using documentation tools.
  •  Understand the steps involved in screening studies and the review workflow.
  •  Become familiar with the fundamentals of PRISMA and meta-analysis concepts in general.
