The IBD Alert Course :

is designed to provide practical, evidence-based knowledge to help General Practitioners identify patients who may have IBD, distinguish concerning symptoms from common gastrointestinal conditions, and facilitate early diagnosis and appropriate management.

Educational Objectives:

Recognize key symptoms and risk factors of IBD in primary care settings

Differentiate IBD subtypes and distinguish IBD from other common GI conditions

 Initiate appropriate basic workup including non-invasive diagnostics (e.g., fecal calprotectin).

Apply appropriate referral timing and documentation practices.

Avoid common diagnostic and therapeutic errors in the early IBD care pathway.
